Nick Meyer, Consultant in Psychiatry and Sleep medicine at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), joins us to talk all about sleep.

Nick is also based at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London, where he does research into the interaction between sleep, circadian rhythms and mental disorder. 

Nick talks about how we can give ourselves the best chance at getting good sleep, the environmental factors and habits that can affect our sleep, and the importance of light for our wellbeing overall.
